It makes me very sad. Ray Bolz, who was married for 30-some years and had some awesome worship music also "came out." I hate the enemy

Yep, I just bought her new cd - it released today. Love the sinner, hate the sin. I think Christians can still like her music w/o being pro-gay. Same difference w the garbage of top 40 stuff that we listen to. KTIS is very conservative so that doesn't surprise me I guess.

It's so sad that people still believe in the concept of sin.

How can one not believe in the "concept" of sin with the evil in this world?

You mean, "How can one not believe in the 'concept' of sin with the 'suffering' in this world"? Evil and sin are practically synonyms in Christianity, and so accordingly both are the same concept.
How about this: How can you believe that an all-loving creator would create a world with sin/evil in it?
Or what about this: How does it make sense
that this God would first create sin, send himself to earth (Jesus and he are one) to die for his own vengeance against the creation that He made, take a vacation over the weekend, and then go back up to heaven, as though nothing happened? How is this "just"?

And then, in the irony of this context of calling homosexuality (lesbian) a sin, with the twist I introduced of suffering, how, exactly, are lesbians suffering? I'd say more of the suffering comes from the Christian bigotry regarding them than anything else.
Why don't you believe in Zeus, Odin, Krisna, instead of the Christian god?

The God of the Bible is genocidal war-mongering pro-slavery asshole, and in the words of the very religious tendency that produced him, he is "evil".
In other words, how can you not forsake God as a Deistic flip-flop of a mistake, with all of the evil that proceeds from the blood-colored glasses of Christians and other religions?

Look: If you're disgusted by it, just say so. It's a lot easier to make sense of, and you'll find a lot of other people who agree. And that's fine. And when you and/or others enact laws that makes life for those people who disgust you, remember that this is no longer a private disgust: you're interfering with other people's lives. That's why there's so much "hate" for Christians.
